The company provides a wide range of financial services to businesses and communities through a wide network of offices and agents. Some of the services offered by www.myciti.com include banking, credit cards, lending, investing among others. Considering its credit cards services, Citi has an impressive line-up of credit cards including;

  1. Citi Double Cash Card.
  2. Citi Simplicity Card.
  3. Citi Thank You Preferred Card.
  4. Citi Diamond Preferred Card.

These credit cards allow Citi Group customers to access a wide variety online services including online shopping while paying for their purchases using their credit cards of choice. When their credit account bill is due, customers can go back to www.myciti.com to recharge their account balance. Customers can;

  • Pay for Citi credit cards through eBill.
  • Pay for Citi Credit Cards Online.
  • Pay for Citi Credit Cards by Mail.

Below, please find a step by step guide to how you can successfully make payments on your Citi Group credit cards using the above-accepted payment methods.

Set Up Citi Group Online Access.

Before you can access all online amenities associated with your Citi Credit Card or Bank account, you must first register for online access by creating a unique user ID and password. To register for online access, you require:

  • Your ATM/Debit card number, your PIN, or personal ID number, and your account number or the 4 last digits of your social security number if you are a retail bank customer.
  • On the other hand, if you are a Credit card customer you’ll need: your Credit Card number, your CW which is the last 3 digits on the back of MasterCard and Visa cards, or the Security Code (CSS), which is the 4 digit on the front of American Express cards, your date of birth, the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, and finally your security word.

To Register for Online access, follow the steps below,

Step 1: Visit www.myciti.com

Step 2: Click on the “Register for Online Access” button as shown below.

Step 3: Enter your Citi card information as shown below.

Step 4: Click on “Continue Set Up” to complete.

Furthermore, if you do not have an existing Citi account, you can open one at www.myciti.com.To open an account online, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit www.myciti.com

Step 2: Click on the “Open an account” button on the top right corner of the homepage as shown below.

Step 3: You will then be redirected to a page where you will be required to specify your state and type of account you wish to open, as shown below.

Step 4: Select your preferred account and click on the “Apply Now” button next to your product of choice as shown below.

Step 5: Enter your account information as required to complete your registration for online access.

Once you have completed the registration process, you should go back to the account opening page to check on the status of your account. To do so;

Step 3: Enter information related to your account.

You will then receive information regarding the status of your account.

Already have an online account? Or has your account been approved? You can login to your Citi group account online to use the amenities provide for you. The login process is fairly short and can be registered to your personal computer to avoid instances where you have to log in again and again. To login to your Citi account online follow the steps below:

Step 2: Enter your User ID and Password.

Step 3: In the event that you are using your personal computer to log in to your Citi account, check the “Remember my User ID” box, so the Citi web application can remember your login details for you.

Step 4: Confirm the login details as you have provided them and click on the “Sign On” button to complete the login.

Once you complete the above process, you can go on to use the site to pay your account bills as well as use other services provided for Citi customers. The site has been integrated with several acceptable methods for bill payment as discussed below.

Pay For Citi Credit Cards through EBill.

An eBill is an electronic version of the paper bill or statement that you receive each month from the biller. The eBill has all of the same details and information that your paper bill contains. It is relatively easy to find out whether your biller participates in eBill and equally easy to enroll for eBill. Citibank maintains a list of merchants that accept electronic payment. If you enter a payee or biller’s name that closely matches one or more of the billers on the list, the name will be displayed with a unique, blue icon next to the eBill eligible payees. To enroll a payee for eBill’ follow the steps below;

Step 1: Visit Citi Bank online and login to your account

Step 2: Go to the “Payments” page and set up your payee list for Online Bill Payment.

Step 3: Click on the unique blue icon, which will redirect you to the enrollment page.

Step 4: Enter your account information.

Step 5: Submit the enrollment form to complete.

Alternatively, you can follow the steps below:

Step 2: Select “Apply Online” as shown below.

Once a payee is enrolled, you’ll receive an email confirmation from Citi with a green check mark next to the payee, together with an email notification when your eBill is available for viewing and payment.

Pay For Citi Credit Cards Bills Online.

Citibank’s’ Online Bill Payment is a no fee service that lets you pay virtually any payee or biller in the U.S. that you would normally pay by check or pay at the merchants own website. Citibank maintains a list of merchants that accept online bill payment. However, if your payee is listed for Online Bill Payment, you can easily and quickly list them. To do so, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit Citi Bank Online Banking and sign on to your account.

Step 2: Go to the payment page and select “Manage Payee”

Step 3: Select “Add a Bill Pay Payee” on the Manage payee page.

Step 4: Enter information relating to your payee and submit the enrollment form to complete.

When your payee is enrolled, you’ll receive an email confirmation from Citi detailing the status of the enrollment. Later on, you will receive an email notification detailing when the bill is available for viewing and payment, online. You can then make an online bill payment to you payee as soon as you can.
